Stubborn soul,
stubborn soul,
get out the way.
Stubborn soul,
stubborn soul,
not today.

You lead me astray,
I don’t wanna go that way.
Stubborn soul,

I’m God’s child,
Inner man activate,
and raise me to a place of okay.
