Poem Shine King, Shine
By Chrissie

Gifted you are,
yet they don’t want you to know this,
holding you down so you wear a frown,
but your not bound.

You are strong,
you are royal
you are a mighty man of valour,
victorious.

Don’t play small when you are gifted and talented,
don’t let them shape you,
rather allow God to define you, refine you.

They want to keep you down,
influence YOU to wear frown.
But your royal,
you have a royal robe,
clothed with Jesus.

You were made to shine,
and stand out like Jesus did.
Be the authentic you,
not who they made you.

You are the city on the hill,
the light of the world,
the salt of the earth,
the sunshine.

Don’t shrink
or live small,
when you are a King,
not an hermit in the cave.

Arise
and shine for Gods glory, triumph,
you champion you.

You are gifted
and talented,
you are a King,
royal.

Don’t live down,
or wear a frown.
Smile,
your not bound.

Beat your chest
and roar like a lion.
Rise,
and swim.

Don’t stay down,
rise
and live,
be the positive leader you are.

You are Gods child, righteousness,
fearfully
and wonderfully made,
loved by God.

Now dust yourself
and carry on…

God clothed you righteous,
wear your righteous robe.
Sing you righteous song,
live and don’t grow weary.

Don’t faint,
your a king.
Royal you be,
Rise King,
Rise
and be who you are,
your a star.
A blessing you are,
shine your light,
and show Gods glory.
That’s the moral of the story,
the rest is history.
